This presentation researches on the overview of how AI is integrated into the PST ART exhibition and events series for Fall 2024, focusing on the intersection of artificial intelligence and art. The presentation explores various dimensions of AI in artistic practice across multiple venues, from museums and galleries to theater and open areas, showcasing how artists are engaging with AI technologies through different lenses such as installations, generative storytelling, biologically inspired art, ecological narratives, and social commentary.
This research looks deep into the 18 exhibition series in the 80+ of PST ART, highlights over 30 artworks, events and symposium related to AI, featuring works by artists like Refik Anadol, Sarah Rosalena, Cai Guo-Qiang, and George Legrady among others. It also includes symposiums, catalogues, and performances that critically examine questions about AI's potential impact on human consciousness, creativity, and understanding. The presentation reviews how contemporary artists are interpreting, challenging, and expanding the boundaries of art through artificial intelligence.
